The station’s contribution to national development has been acclaimed resulting in several awards: Peace FM has over the years been adjudged Radio Station of the Year and has also won awards for its morning show, Kokrokoo, hosted by Kwami Sefa Kayi.

Peace FM was a dream of Mr Osei Kwame, which became a reality on May 25, 1999 with the objective of demonstrating support for the local music industry which was on a rapid decline then, put Ghanaian culture above all else.
